At Braun Dental we offer the Zoom!  in office teeth whitening system. In a 2 hour dental appointment, you can have your teeth
whitened by 10 or more shades! The bleaching time is three 15 minute segments for a total of 45 minutes of bleaching time.

The major benefit of whitening your teeth at the dental office is the speed and ease of the process. At home whitening systems
can take weeks of use. The at home systems can be messy and difficult to use. The in office whitening process is fast and
easy!

Will teeth whitening work for everyone?

No, some people have shades of teeth that will not whiten very well. In general, yellow and brown colors come out very nicely. You will
need to be examined by a dentist in order to determine if you are a good candidate for whitening.

The process of whitening your teeth:

First we record your starting shade. We then isolate you teeth with a hard acrylic dam and cotton. When this is done, only your teeth are
exposed. Bleach is then applied with a 15 minute cure with a high intensity ultraviolet light. The bleach is reapplied 2 more times for 15
minutes each for a total of 45 minutes of bleaching time. Once the bleaching is complete, we apply a fluoride treatment to your teeth to
reduce sensitivity. We then record your shade of your teeth after the whitening process. On your 48 hour color check, we will give you a
take home tray where you can continue to maintain your whitening process.

Will whitening change the color of my existing fillings or crowns?

No, the color of your fillings and crowns will not change.

How light will my teeth be?

The shades can lighten by 10 or more shades. This varies person by person so we cannot predict the exact result before the whitening is
done.

How long does it last?

The whitening can last for a year or more but it is impossible to predict for any individual. The foods and drinks you consume can darken
your whitened teeth. Staining foods will cause you teeth to return to the starting color.

What are the costs?

Our bleaching fees are currently $695.00. This fee does not include any exam or other treatment fees that may be necessary before
whitening can be done.  Prices are subject to change without notice.
