Valplast Flexible Partial Dentures

There are many instructions
needed for the care and use of
your new dentures.
It is advisable that you remove
your dentures at night unless
your dentist advises you to keep
them in place. Immediate
dentures are dentures that are
placed in your mouth immediately
after your surgery in which your
teeth were removed. It will be
suggested that you keep and
sleep with your immediate
dentures for at least one to two
nights. After the first few nights it
may be best if you did not sleep
with those dentures as this can
speed the healing of your gums.
Dentures that are placed over
MDI implants should be kept in
as much as possible, especially
while you sleep. Your tissue can
overgrow the implant heads
causing the denture to not seat
on the implant abutments. Ask
your dentist what is advised in
your case.
Your all acrylic dentures can be
cleaned with a firm brush and
soapy water. Some people
choose to use denture tablets
and denture pastes to clean their
dentures. Please make sure you
follow the directions carefully for
the product you may use. If you
have a cast metal partial
denture, you need to be aware
that some cleaning tablets have
ingredients that can tarnish the
cast metal on your partial. You
need to read the labels carefully.
* Financing through Capital
One Healthcare Financing. Your
$62 monthly payment is based
on $2999 for 60 months at
7.9% APR. Your rate may vary
based on your approval. You
can find your exact payment by

One.
We process Valplast flexible dentures in our office. This
partial denture choice will allow you to have a completely
metal free option that is stronger than plain acrylic. You
also will have clasps that blend into your mouth without
unsightly metal clasps. This is the choice material for a
metal free look at an affordable removable partial price!
**The 3 year warranty is based on
the start date of your initial
impressions. You will receive 2
periodic oral exams at a 12 month
interval as well as your 2 denture
cleanings at the same visit.
Simple denture repairs will be
covered during this time period
not caused by damage or
neglect. In order for this warranty
to remain in effect, you must have
your 12 month periodic exam and
cleanings performed. If any x-rays
are needed during this time
frame, they will NOT be covered
by this plan. Unlimited
adjustments for the first 3 months
followed by up to 12 adjustments
during the remainder of the three
year period.
Denture Adjustments and Exams
|
It is advisable that you have a yearly examination by
your dentist even if you have had all of your teeth
extracted. Your dentist will look to make sure that you
do not have any cancerous areas. It may be
suggested that you have an x-ray at certain intervals
to make sure that the bone areas under your denture
are healthy and cancer free.
If you are experiencing denture sores or irritations, it
is important that you see your dentist to have them
addressed. A denture sore is usually caused by a
long denture border or sharp spot. This will not go
away without an adjustment. If you do not have this
taken care of, you are putting your gums and health
at risk.
Make sure you have your dentures and partials
cleaned professionally on a regular basis.
