About Our Practice
In 1991, Dr. Peter L. Braun founded Braun Dental.
This changed how dentistry was practiced in Central
Vermont. Braun Dental then had the capability to
not only have patient care but on site dental
laboratory services was added to a dental office.
This allowed the patient to have unmatched quality
offered under one roof.
In the mid to late 90's, Braun Dental became one of
the largest dental practices within the State of
Vermont. It consisted of 7 full time dentists in 4
locations. It had up to 50 full and part time
employees.
In early 2005, Dr. Braun decided to create a small,
patient centered Dental Spa Practice. Dr. Braun is
joined by a staff which includes a clinical manager,
one front office receptionist and scheduler, one
dental hygienist, three dental assistants, and two
dental laboratory technicians. All of the team
members strive to make your visit to Braun Dental
as comfortable and memorable as possible.
We are currently converting our property next to our
office into a patient guest home for our out of town
Dental Spa Patients. We should have that facility
ready by fall of 2007. Dr. Braun is also the founder
of Avant Garde Real Estate, Inc. You can click on

Our exterior of our office is currently being restored
to the original 1850's Victorian facade. Our office
building was once the town's barn for the horse
drawn trolleys. The horse stalls are still in the
basement.
Dr. Peter Braun feels the smaller client centered
practice has allowed us to increase the quality of
patient care. Each patient has enough time to feel
comfortable within the practice. They have the time
to watch their favorite television program within the
treatment rooms before and during the dental visit.
Our patients routinely comment, "I have never
been so comfortable at the dentist and I will
send my friends and family to your practice."
You can enjoy wonderful bakery items created for
us by Gesine Confectionary and Gourmet Market.
After your treatment you can have either a hot or
cold towel to freshen your face.
Braun Dental has the latest technology available.
We have all digital x-rays with full integration into
our Kodak Dental software. We have a Biolase laser
available for your treatment in which some of your
restorations can be completed without you even
needing local anesthesia.
Our dental laboratory is staffed by two technicians.
One specializes in fabricating crowns, bridges and
implant restorations. The other technician
specializes in creating lifelike removable partial and
full dentures. We also can repair most denture
breaks within the same day if called early in the
morning.

Braun Dental has a full service dental laboratory division. As a
result of having our own dental laboratory technicians, we
have the availability of giving you same day denture repairs
for most situations.
We also have our technicians present to give you a custom
shade and a custom appearance. You will tell them directly
exactly how you would like your smile to be!
